Melinda Capiraso’s work is guided by the fundamental principle of philanthropy that reminds us
“Giving is Good.” She has extensive experience in nonprofit event management, fund development planning, fundraising
training, direct mail solicitation, institutional giving, grant writing, corporate sponsorship and major donor cultivation. Prior to becoming a
consultant, she held several positions as Director of Development and Interim Executive Director. Melinda has worked in the nonprofit
sector in San Francisco and New York for over 20 years. She loves working as a consultant and having the opportunity to work for a
variety of issues and causes. She earned a MPA from San Francisco State University and a BA in Political Science from the State
University of New York.
Jennifer Bing is a career bleeding heart with more than 20 years of experience in community-based organizations.
From her early days as a pro-choice advocate in Michigan to health education and mentoring programs for youth in San Francisco, she
has gained extensive experience as staff and volunteer, on the front lines and in management. Jennifer has served in various leadership
roles in organizations both large and small. Consulting gives her the welcome opportunity to work with the many causes close to her heart
and focus on her favorite tasks. And event production brings her passion for philanthropy together with her creative interests. Jennifer
received her MPA from San Francisco State University and her BA from Michigan State University.
